Family Fishing Days 2025

The annual Family Fishing Days in Freedom Park kicked off on Saturday with filled park full of families enjoying fishing, great food and a great time in the park. Our profound thanks to all the sponsors, donors, volunteers to put on this great event. Sunday is another day to come on down to enjoy, but here is some of the fun on Saturday, with our thanks to the Buffalo Challenger Newspaper for some of their photos.

An Overview of Freedom Park

If you haven’t come down yet to Freedom Park to enjoy an installment of Healing By the Water, perhaps this look can help entice you. Each Thursday, from 5pm until 8pm, there are some of Buffalo’s best musicians (Playing for FREE!), great food and gift vendors, community partners, groovy people as well as the best vantage point for our incredible sunsets. The park fills up, but you are invited to come be a part of the joy.

It is one of the best vibes around, come on down, now through Mid September. See you Thursday!

Healing By the Water, Opening Night

The 2024 season of Healing By The Water in Freedom Park got underway Thursday night, July 11th with music from the reunited Buffalo r &b legends, the Exoutics with some help from the 4.0. The large crowd got treated to an evening of great music along the water, some great food and gift vendors to form a great community. We do it again this coming Thursday evening and throughout the Summer. You are cordially invited to join us for a great time in the sacred ground that is Buffalo’s Freedom Park

Funday Sunday

Despite rain shortening this year’s Family Fishing Weekend to just this past Sunday, there was plenty of joy to shared between the families, fishing and plenty of food.

Thanks to all the donors, volunteers, partners who made for such a special Sunday in Freedom Park.
